Carrot-Potato soup
posted in Uncategorized |Carrot-potato soup is a refreshing delicious, healthy and nutritious soup rich in proteins made of carrots and potatoes with some onions.
Here is the recipe for you:
Ingredients to be boiled:
2 carrots of medium size
1 potato
1 onion
2 garlic cloves(big)

Ingredients to be added to the boiled stuff:
2 tsp orange juice(any citrus juice works)
2 tsp tomato puree
1 tsp pepper
1tsp curry powder
1 cup skimmed milk
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste

For garnishing:
Roasted onions
Few sprigs of fresh coriander.
Procedure:
- Chop the carrots,potato and onions.
- Crush the garlic clove
- Boil all these together until they are tender.
- Allow to cool.
- Then add the orange juice,tomato puree,salt,sugar,pepper,curry powder and milk to the boiled stuff.
- Blend the entire stuff to a smooth puree.
- Now roast few chopped onions in a teaspoon of butter and add the puree to it.
- Heat the puree without bringing it to boil.
- Garnish with some fresh coriander.

Serve it hot with some croutons.
