Bajjis

Ingredients:
Vegetables:
1 Capsicum- Cut into slices of desired shape
1 Tomato-Cut into slices
1 Onion-Cut into thin ring shaped slices

Even potatoes and ripe bananas can be used.
For batter:
Gram flour- 1 cup
Ajwain- 1tsp
Garlic- 2 tsp (crushed)
Green chillies- 1 tsp (crushed)
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation:
- Heat sufficient oil in a deep frying pan.
- Meanwhile prepare the batter for bajjis with the above listed ingredients adding water slowly, to a medium consistency.
- Once the oil is hot, dip the sliced vegetables in the batter, until they are coated well and slowly put them in the pan.
- Fry the bajjis until they turn brown.
- Fry over a medium flame, and remove them on to, a plate with a kitchen paper.
- Serve them hot with some chutney or ketchup.
