Rava Dosa
Recipe for Rava Dosa:
Ingredients:
Rice flour- 1 cup
Maida (All purpose flour)- 1 cup
Rava (sooji)- 1 cup
Salt to taste
Cumin (jeera)- 1 tsp
Green chillies- 2 (finely chopped)
Fresh coriander- 1/4th cup (finely chopped)
Procedure:
- Mix all the above listed ingredients by adding sufficient water slowly in batches.
- Be cautious while adding water, as the batter should not be very watery in consistency.
- Heat a pan and grease it with a cut onion or half teaspoon of oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter on the skillet. Spread it around with the ladle.
- With the ladle, shape and move the batter outwards in concentric circles - until it shapes in a circular, thin round.
- Add half teaspon of oil around the batter.Increase the heat and cook it for few minutes.
- Flip it to the other side and remove it on to a plate.
- Serve it hot with some pickle or chutney of your choice.

We had our dosas with tomato pickle.
