Beans in peanut gravy

Ingredients:
Beans- 250 grams
Onions- 2 (medium)
Peanuts- 1 small cup
Cloves- 2 or 3
Cinnamon- small piece
Green chillies- 2
Pinch of turmeric
Salt to taste
For Seasoning:
Mustard- 1 tsp
Cumin- 1 tsp
Red chillies- 1
Curry leaves- 10
Procedure:
- Wash and chop the beans finely to small pieces.
- Half boil the beans and keep aside.
- Chop the onions finely and keep aside.
- Heat a skillet and fry the cloves and cinnanom without adding any oil.
- Fry the peanuts in the same manner. Once the peanuts are cool, remove their skin.
- Grind the peanuts, cloves, cinnanom and green chillies and very little salt to a smooth consistency by adding water.
- Re heat the pan and add two spoons of oil and do the seasoning in the above listed order.
- Once the popping sound is heard, add the chopped onions and saute, until they leave the raw smell and turn soft.
- Stir in the ground paste and fry for two minutes, until, it separates from the walls of the pan.
- Stir in the partially boiled beans and add salt and turmeric.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Add a cup of water and cover with a lid.
- Cook for few minutes over a low flame and then put off the stove.

This curry goes well with both rice and rotis.
